Chris Goettl

Christopher "Chris" Goettl, age 50, passed away on November 8, 2021, at the Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, November 13, 2021, at Our Lady of the Prairie Catholic Church in Belle Plaine. Visitation will be at the church from 9:30-10 a.m. Interment will be in Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Cemetery in Belle Plaine.

Chris was born in New Prague on December 7, 1970, to Cyril “Cy” and Lorraine (Anderley) Goettl. He was baptized, had First Communion, and was confirmed at Our Lady of the Prairie Catholic Church in Belle Plaine. Chris graduated from Belle Plaine High School in 1992. For the past 16 years he has resided at the Divine House Priam, then in Atwater, Minnesota

He is preceded in death by his parents and brother Mike.

Chris is survived by his siblings, Sharon (Allen) Schmitz of Belle Plaine,

Tom (Laurie) Goettl of New Prague,

Laurie (Bill) Slaughter of Surprise, AZ,

Caretaker, David Blom of Atwater,

Nieces, Bridget (Ryan) McGlenn, Valerie (Jesse) Haugesag, Sarah Leonard, Monika (Darren Wick) Goettl, Nephews, Jason (Kelli) Schmitz, Andrew (Lindsey) Leonard, Parker Goettl, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
