Darline Marie Jones

Darline Marie Jones, age 94, formerly of LeSueur died on November 20, 2021 at Ecumen Centennial House in Apple Valley.  She was born on October 21, 1927 in Sharon Township, LeSueur County to Leon and Emma (Hanke) Dressel.  She graduated from LeSueur High School. She married Harold Jones on April 20, 1949 in LeSueur.  They farmed in Sharon Township until his death in 1981.  Darline worked at various locations around the LeSueur area including The Coachlight Supper Club, Holiday House, Turkey Tavern, worked as a nanny, Cornerstone State Bank, Leisure Cottage and Duebers.  She volunteered at the Gardenview Nursing Home and was an active member of the LeSueur United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women.  Darline enjoyed gardening, canning, embroidering, and sewing.

She is survived by her children; Larry (Deborah) Jones of Lakeville, Barbara Jones of Albert Lea and Debra (Scott) Wurdeman of Savage.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold; son, Ronald; sisters, Delores Thune and Patricia Olson and a brother, Melvin Dressel

Memorial services will be held on December 4, 2021 at the United Methodist Church in LeSueur at  11 a.m..  Rev. Terri Horn will officiate.  Visitation will be on Saturday, December 4 from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at the church. Interment will be in the Mound Cemetery in LeSueur.  In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
