Jeffrey "Jagger" Stenzel

Jeffrey “Jagger” Stenzel, age 70 of Arlington passed away Monday, November 15, 2021 at his residence. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 19^th at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Arlington. Visitation will be from Noon until service time Friday at the church. Interment will be in the church cemetery.

Jeffrey Allen Stenzel was born on February 23, 1951 at the Glencoe Municipal Hospital to Elton and Viola (Buckentin) Stenzel. Jeff was baptized the day of his birth at the hospital. He was confirmed on April 3, 1966 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Arlington. Jeff attended St. Paul’s Lutheran School through the eighth grade and then attended and graduated from Arlington - Green Isle High School in 1970. Being a fan of singer Mick Jagger, Jeff earned the nickname “Jagger” which he kept for life. Although Jeff had a physical impairment caused by cerebral palsy, he managed a life-long employment with Bongards Dairy from high school until his retirement about four years ago. Jeff enjoyed sports and was an avid fan of Minnesota team sports.

Jeff is survived by his sister-in-law, Debbie Stenzel, nephews; Joshua (Anna) Stenzel and Nathan Stenzel, niece, Mallory (Dustin) Ricke, great nephews; Hudson and Ethan Ricke and great nephew and great niece; Brandon and Alexandria, uncle and aunt; Robert and Shirley Buckentin, as well as other relatives and friends.

Jeff is preceded in death by his parents; Elton and Viola Stenzel, brothers; Rodney Stenzel in infancy and Daniel Stenzel.
