Robert G. Buckingham

Robert Glen Buckingham, age 86 of Hendeson, MN died at the Ridgeview Medical Center of an unexpected illness on Wednesday, March 27, 2024.  Funeral Service will be on Friday, April 5, 2024, 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ in Henderson, MN.  Visitation will be at the church that morning from 10:00 a.m. ~ 11:00 a.m.  Lunch to following church social hall.  Burial will be at a later date in Greenwood, Nebraska. 

Bob was born on February 2, 1938 in Greenwood, Nebraska to Daryle & Fern (Robinson) Buckingham.  He attended school in Greenwood and played baseball.  Later in his life he married Barbara Rannow in York Nebraska in 1990.  He enjoyed watching birds, tending to his flowers and plants and loved his dogs.  He enjoyed camping with family and friends and sitting around the fire making memories.  He was loved by his family and many friends.  His charm and love will be missed.  He was an amazing husband, Dad and Grandpa. 

He is survived by his wife of over 30 years, Barbara.  Daughter, Veronica Miller; sons, Dean and Gene Buckingham.  Grandson, Brandon Welch.  Great-grandchildren; Bradlie, Chloe and Ashton Welch. 

He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers and sisters and grandson, Bradley Miller.
