Henry Harvey Ruff, Jr.

Henry “Hiney” Ruff, Jr., age 84 of Henderson, died Sunday, October 6, 2019 at his home.  Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 11 at the Kolden Funeral Home in Arlington with Pastor Bob Broeder officiating.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.  Interment will be in the St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery in rural Arlington.

Henry was born in Arlington on December 18, 1934 to Henry, Sr. and Gladys (Ostermann) Ruff. He grew up on the farm, and so began his deep passion for all things farming.  He raised many animals through the years and loved them all.  He enjoyed fishing and hunting; he loved being outdoors.  On Monday evenings you could find Henry watching WWE Wrestling, one of his favorite tv shows, and he never missed the Mollie B Polka Party.  

Henry is survived by his sister, Evelyn (Bill) Aul of Bloomington; brother, Paul (Norma) Ruff of Brownsville, TX; sister-in-law, Sue Ruff; and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents; siblings, George (Janet) Ruff, Selma Ruff, Verna (Ellsworth) Drescher, Harvey Ruff, Walter Ruff, Ellsworth “Alex” (Joanie) Ruff, and Carl Ruff.
