Regina Bisch Obituary

Regina A. Bisch, age 91 of Le Sueur, died on Nov 21 2018, on The Feast of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary.  The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered by Father James Adams on Saturday, December 1, 2018, 11:00 a.m. at St Anne’s Church in Le Sueur.  Visitation will be Saturday  morning beginning with a C.C.W. Rosary at 8:45 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. at Kolden Funeral Home in Le Sueur.  Interment will follow Holy Mass at Calvary Cemetery, Le Sueur, MN.  Lunch to follow at St. Anne’s School.

Regina was born in Hillman Township, Morrison Co. MN to Ed and Helen (Froehner) Stangl on February 24, 1927.  She grew up in Pierz, MN and graduated from St. Joseph’s Hospital School of Nursing in Mankato as an LPN.  She worked as a Staff Nurse at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Mankato until she married Michael Bisch on June 30, 1953.  Regina worked at MN Valley Memorial Hospital and Gardenview Nursing Home in Le Sueur for 32 years.  She also worked several summers as a First Aide Nurse for Green Giant.  She helped many people and volunteered with the Le Sueur County Red Cross blood drive, St. Anne’s Church and School, American Legion Auxiliary, MN Valley Hospital Auxiliary, and Girl Scouts.

Regina was gifted with many talents including knitting, crocheting, sewing, quilting, baking and decorating cakes and pies.  She enjoyed playing bridge, fishing, and sports and was an avid fan of the MN Twins and MN Gopher Football Team.

Regina is survived by her children Mary Helen (Alan) Deutsch, Roseville MN, Sharon Rosburg, Crosby MN, Kevin (Cathy) Bisch, Aitkin MN, Steven (Paula) Bisch, Pompano Beach FL, Rose Ann Bisch, Spring Lake Park MN; grandchildren Tim and Craig (Sharon) Deutsch, Aaron, Alex, Sophia, Louie Bisch, and Katie Bisch; great-grandchild Clara Deutsch; sister in law Alice Stangl and many dear in-laws, cousins, nieces, and nephews. 

She is preceded in death by husband Michael K. Bisch and brothers Raymond and Victor Stangl.
