Scott Allan Troldahl

Scott Allan Troldahl, age 59 of Gaylord, died Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at the Hennepin Medical Center in Minneapolis.  Memorial service will be 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 22 at United Church of Christ in Gaylord.  Visitation will be two hours prior to service time at the church on Saturday.  Interment will be in Brown Cemetery in Henderson at a later date.

Scott was born on August 12, 1959 to Dayle and Harriet (Kahle) Troldahl in St. Peter, MN.  He graduated from Gaylord High School in 1977 and then attended Mankato State University.  Scott was a member of the Nicollet Conservation Club, Ducks Unlimited, GPL, and the Boy Scouts in his youth. 

To say that Scott was an outdoorsman is an understatement.  He absolutely loved being out in the woods.  He was an avid hunter, and trap shooter.  He was a big Twins fan, and enjoyed watching sports. 

He is survived by his mother, Harriet Troldahl of Gaylord; brother, Marc (Terri) Troldahl of Hayward, WI; sister, Paula Troldahl of Gaylord; aunts and uncles, William and Lorraine Walsh of Gaylord, Wayne and Margaret Kahle of Paynesville, and Elizabeth Troldahl of East Lansing, MI; other relatives, cousins and friends; and Abby his beloved black lab. 

 He is preceded in death by his father.
