Donna Marie Welter

Donna M. Welter, age 71 of St. Peter, died peacefully with her family by her side on Monday, November 20, 2017 at the Oak Terrace Assisted Living Facility in Le Sueur. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Monday, November 27, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Peter Catholic Church of St. Peter. Visitation will be at the church the day before from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in St. Peter, MN. Father Todd Petersen and Father Sam Perez will celebrate the mass. Donna was born on November 7, 1946 to Don and Betty (Ross) Boys in St. Peter, MN. She married Theodore Welter on April 8, 1967 in St. Peter, MN. Donna was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She was immensely devoted to her family and had a strong faith in God. She became a part of the Franciscan Order, The Brother and Sister of Penance of St. Francis of Assisi in 2005. Donna loved spending time with her family, praying and gardening. She is survived by her husband Theodore Welter and her five children; Thea Kramer of St. Paul, Ruth (Todd) Neumann of New London, Peter (Kami) of St. Peter, Joe (Cami) of Waconia, and Paul (Kellee) of Eden Prairie. Eight grandchildren; Alex, Jonathan, Nicholas, Kahner, Matthew, Karsyn, Lindsay, and Quinn. Her brothers David (Linda) Boys and Dennis Boys, many other nieces and nephews.
