Katelyn J. Hank, age 16 of Le Sueur, died on Tuesday evening, December 31, 2013 in a sledding accident. Services will be on Saturday, 11:00 a.m, January 4, 2014 at Word of Life Lutheran Brethren Church in Le Sueur, MN. Visitation will be at the church on Friday evening from 4-8 p.m. and continue the morning of the service from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. Following the 11:00 a.m. services, burial will take place at Mound Cemetery in Le Sueur. Rev. Ed Nugent will officiate the services. Lunch to follow at St. Anne's School in Le Sueur. Katelyn was born on June 19, 1997 in New Prague, MN. She attended Hilltop Elementary in Henderson, MN and middle and high school at Le Sueur-Henderson High School. She enjoyed working with friends at the local Pizza Ranch. She was very active in church youth group, speech, drama, band, TARGET, choir, and Swinging Sisters. She was a Co-Captain of the LSH Tennis Team this past fall. Katelyn also enjoyed playing the guitar, singing, being outdoors, fishing with her dad, art, spending time with her many friends, and most of all she loved animals. She is survived by her mother, Tanya Hagen and father, John and his wife Ashley Hank, all of Le Sueur; siblings: Alanna Hagen & Kelsey Hagen, Connor Hank & Mandy Doerr; grandparents: Dennis (Sharon) Koch of St. Peter, Judy Koch( special friend, Bob Davis) of St. Peter, Harold & Sandy Hank of Le Sueur, Terry & Rosalind Neal of Le Sueur, and great-grandmother, Shirley Bergslien of Excelsior. Also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and special friend, Alex Haas.
