Adler Raymond Griep

Adler R. Griep, age 83 of Le Sueur, died Thursday, March 15, 2012 at the Benedictine Living Center in St. Peter. Funeral Service will be held 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 17, 2012 at the Kolden Funeral Home in Le Sueur. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be in Mound Cemetery in Le Sueur. Adler was born on January 21, 1929 to Adolph and Clara (Gruetzmacher) Griep in Lake Prairie Township. He attended country school west of Le Sueur. After high school he joined the U.S. Army. He then farmed with his brothers. He enjoyed attending auctions and woodcarving. He loved his cattle. He is survived by his dear friends. He is preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Hilmer in 1961, Ivan in 1988 and Delton in 1996.
