Agnes F. (Carlson) Wolter

Agnes F. Wolter of Minneapolis, formerly of Arlington, MN passed away peacefully at age 101 the morning of Friday, October 23, 2020 at the N. C. Little Hospice in Edina, MN.

Agnes was born on June 21, 1919 to Emil and Augusta (Pockrandt) Carlson in Winthrop, MN.  She married Vernon P. Wolter on June 22, 1940 in St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.  The couple moved to the Metro area where Agnes did administrative work for Dayton’s for many years.

She is survived by her daughter and caregiver, Vivian C. Bjorn of Edina; and grandson, Vance Bjorn of Atherton, CA.  She is also survived by her sister, Mildred Weckwerth of Arlington, MN; and brother, Wallace (Doraine) Carlson of Belle Plaine, MN.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Vernon in 1999; and twin brothers, Reuben and Clifford Carlson.

We request memorials be directed to N.C. Little Hospice of Edina in lieu of flowers.

With consideration to COVID restrictions, burial will be a private graveside service.  She will be buried at Arlington Public Cemetery in Arlington.  Agnes was happy to celebrate her life surrounded by friends and family at her Centennial Birthday last year.
