Agnes Klehr, age 102 of Belle Plaine, passed away on April 11, 2014 at Kingsway Retirement Living in Belle Plaine. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 16, at Our Lady of the Prairie Catholic Church in Belle Plaine. Fr. Michael Kaluza will officiate. Visitation will be from 4-8p.m. on Tuesday at the Kolden Funeral Home in Belle Plaine and continue one hour prior to the service at church on Wednesday morning. Interment will be in Sts. Peter Paul Catholic Cemetery in Belle Plaine. Agnes was born in Sandcreek Township, MN on February 17, 1912 to Nicholas and Theresa (Spaetgens) Pauly. Country school attendance was at St. Joe. On May 12, 1931, she married Felix Klehr at St. Joe Catholic Church in Sand Creek Township. They farmed in St. Lawrence Township and moved into Belle Plaine in 1976 when they retired. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Felix in 1998; grandson, Steve Klehr, grandsons-in-law, Tom Deutsch and Todd Schmidt; great-grandsons, Ryan Laabs and Derrick Schmidt and great-granddaughter, Ashley Johnson. Agnes is survived by her children, Richard (Mary) Klehr of Belle Plaine, Savern (Donald) Guertin of Belle Plaine, Clifford (Mary) Klehr of Jordan, Marilyn (Tom) Johnson of Kingman, AZ and Karen (Roland) Evans of Fridley, MN; 26 grandchildren; 87 Great-Grandchildren, 46 Great-Great-Grandchildren; Many Nieces and Nephews.
