Angel'A Rosemary Marie McVey died on Thursday, August 11, 2016 at her home in Duluth, MN. Memorial services will be on Thursday, August 18, 2016 at 5:00 p.m. at the Kolden Funeral Home in Le Sueur, MN. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Thursday, one hour prior to the services from 4:00 p.m. ~ 5:00 p.m. Angel'A Rosemary Marie came to bless her family on July 28,1987. Her mother Terri Boston Green, grandparents Tom and Joyce Burns and Charles Boston, great grandmother Marjorie Murphey, great aunt and uncle Sharon and Darris Snelling, and great aunt and uncle Mark and Kim Schmitz made up her family at that time. Angel became big sister to Angelina Rosetta Marjorie(Heath) in 1988, Angelique Roseann MaryAnn(Leonard) in 1989, Donald Lee Jr(Karlie) in 1990 and Amber Ellynn(Brian) in 1993. In 1999 she happily joined the Green family and became daughter of Darryl Green and Sister to Amanda Rae(Brandon), Shawna Marie(Loy), Tasha.Jo(Tay), Darrin Edgar(Haylee) and Lindsay Lynn . Living in Duluth, Angel met her soulmate, Matt Skafte. They were engaged to be married and were planning a 2018 wedding. She became the proud, loving aunt to 22 nieces and nephews. Angel cherished each and every of her family members and numerous friends. She made sure they knew they were the center of her life. Despite being burdened with debilitating illness Angel celebrated her families joy, including her parent's marriage in 2010, births of nieces and nephews, Christmases, Thanksgivings, 4th of July parties, birthdays and anniversaries with laughter and affection for all. She mourned her family losses, including the passing of grandmother Marjorie Murphey, grandfather Charles Boston, nephew Azazel Leonard and cousin Laura Maus with heartfelt sympathy and a willingness to help in any way she could. Angel lived a life of gratitude and giving that many talk about but few achieve. She was not bitter about her illness or circumstances. She took responsibility for her mistakes. She often denied herself to buy Christmas gifts for her family and for her nieces and nephews all the time. She didn't need a lot of money or expensive possessions to know what was valuable. She valued what she had. On August 11, 2016 God called Angel home to take her place among the angels for which she was named. She leaves a hole in the hearts of family and friends who loved her and also a powerful example to follow. Dearest Angel, for a way too short 29 years you have been a precious part of our laughter, fun, craziness and love. We give you over to a loving God and rejoice in the lifting of the burdens you bore so gracefully on this earth but know, Angel, you will always be a part of us.
