Anita Mae Parchem

Anita Mae (Arndt) Parchem, age 78 of Belle Plaine, died January 2, 2012 at Haven Home in Maple Plain. A celebration of Anita's life will be held at the Oakwood Community Church, intersection of Highways 5 and 92, Waconia, on Saturday, January 7, 2012 from 2:00 until 4:00p.m. A service will begin at 3:30 p.m. Kolden Funeral Home of Belle Plaine is assisting with arrangements. Anita was born on May 21, 1933 in Ortonville, Mn. to Edward and Christine (Grimm) Arndt. She was a 1951 graduate of Delano High School. On January 8, 1977 she married Wilfred "Bill" Parchem in Plymouth, Mn. In 1979 the couple moved to Belle Plaine where they operated a Locksmith shop and manufactured western belt buckles. Anita is survived by siblings; Luverne Scheerer of Sedona, Az., Phyllis (Harold) Ketcher of Watertown, Mn., Marlan (Judy) Arndt of Moundsview, Mn., and Myron (Sandy) Arndt of Santa Maria, Ca., many nieces and nephews including; Larry (Sharon) Ketcher of Waconia and Cheryl (Nels) Nelson of Mayer, and many good friends. Anita is preceded in death by her husband "Bill" in 1995, her parents, siblings; Donald (Rosella) Arndt, Sally (Clayton) Novak, and brother-in-law Ernie Scheerer.
