Tony was born on November 6, 1973, to Michael “Mike” and Mary (Brau) Noack in Arlington, Minnesota. He grew up in Arlington and graduated from Sibley East High School in 1992. He went on to earn his Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from Saint John’s University and spent much of his professional career working in computer technology, programming, and engineering.
Tony had a brilliant, curious mind, a sly sense of humor, and a unique way of looking at the world. From an early age, he wanted to understand how things worked. As a child, he would take apart radios, televisions, and just about anything with wires inside, simply to see how they were built—and then put them back together again. That natural curiosity eventually became his life’s work.
Tony proudly referred to himself as a “Computer Guru,” a title that anyone who knew him would agree he had earned. Whether it was a complicated technical problem or a simple computer question, Tony loved figuring things out. If he didn’t know the answer, he would keep digging until he found it.
But Tony was much more than his technical abilities. He was kindhearted and always willing to lend a hand. He generously shared his knowledge and talents, whether fixing someone’s computer or solving a frustrating technical problem. Tony wasn’t always the first to speak, but when he did, he often had something insightful, unexpected, or humorous to share. His family will remember his quiet nature, his remarkable mind, and the unique way he viewed the world. He loved his children and family deeply.
Tony is survived by his children, Ava Noack of Hillsboro, Oregon, and Joey and Josie Noack of Appleton, Wisconsin; his parents, Michael and Mary Noack of St. Paul, Minnesota, formerly of Arlington; and his siblings, Carla Noack (Drew Hemphill) of Kansas City, Missouri, John (Jean) Noack of Northfield, Minnesota, and Anne (Paul) Jones of St. Paul, Minnesota. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Adam, Gabbie, Clara, Wyatt, Elsie, Ben, and Johnny, along with many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.
