Arlene Faust

Arlene Faust, age 79 of Green Isle passed away Monday, November 9, 2020 at Comfort Residence Assisted Living in LeSueur. A public visitation will be held on Sunday, November 15 ^th from 1:00 until 3:00 p.m. at the Kolden Funeral Home in Arlington. Current Covid guidelines will respected at the funeral home.

Arlene was born on December 23, 1940 in Blakeley, Mn. to Walter and Anna (Telthorster) Stoppelmann. She was baptized and confirmed at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Belle Plaine. Arlene was a 1958 graduate of Belle Plaine High School. She married Alenous Scheele on June 6, 1962 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Belle Plaine. Mr. Scheele passed away on May 30, 1968. Arlene married David Faust on July 19, 1974 at Emanuel Lutheran Church in Hamburg. Arlene was employed as a school secretary in Arlington between 1971 and 1978. She also worked at Kramer Meats and did mail returns for Young America Corporation. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Arlington and was a member of ZCW and was a former, longtime Sunday School teacher.

Arlene is survived by her children; Dollis Scheele (special friend Gary Crawford), David (Vicki) Scheele, Jenny Faust (John Dieball), grandchildren; Aaron (Christina) Crawford, Angelina Scheele, Isaac Dieball and Joshua Dieball, siblings; Esther Stoppelmann and Robert Stoppelmann, siblings-in-law; Jean Nash, Mary Nash and Rev. Dan (Bea) Faust, nieces, nephews and cousins. Arlene is preceded in death by her parents Walter & Anna, husbands Alenous Scheele on May 30, 1968 & David Faust on May 30, 2016, baby sister and brother Howard Stoppelmann.
