Audrey Goehl

Audrey Mae Goehl, age 85 of Arlington, passed away on June 10, 2017 at Golden Hearts Assisted Living in Arlington. Funeral Service will be held at 4p.m. on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at Peace Lutheran Church in Arlington, Rev. Kurt Lehmkuhl will officiate. Visitation begins one hour prior to the service on Wednesday afternoon at the church. Interment will be in Arlington Public Cemetery. Audrey was born in Arlington Township on May 15, 1932 to Walter and Martha (Brockoff) Willmsen. She was baptized on June 12, 1935. She grew up on the family farm and attended District 16 Country School. On February 6, 1954 she married Gustave "Bud" Goehl at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Arlington. They farmed in Arlington Township for many years. They loved to travel and play cards. She moved to Golden Hearts in 2006. She is preceded in death by her parents Walter & Martha, brother Larry Willmsen, husband Bud in 2004 and granddaughter Barbara Reierson (Goethke) in 2013. Audrey is survived by her daughter, Diane (Don) Goethke of Arlington, Granddaughter, Kimberly (Ethan) Mork of Norwood Young America, Grandson in law, Brent (Sarah) Reierson of Arlington Great Grandchildren, Benjamin & Bethany Reierson, Ella & Erika Mork, Brothers, Glenn (Annette) Willmsen of Shakopee & Robert (Evonne) Willmsen of Arlington, Nieces & Nephews.
