Audrey C. Schultz, age 84, of rural Henderson died on Thursday, February 24, 2011 at the Minnesota Valley Health Center in LeSueur. She was born on September 19, 1926 in Sibley Township, Sibley County to Gerhard and Ardina (Hahn) Gasow. She graduated from Gaylord High School. On September 19, 1948 she married Floyd F. Schultz at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Gaylord. They farmed for many years in Henderson Township and she worked seasonally for Big Stone Canning Company and the Green Giant Company. She also worked as a nanny and babysitter in the Henderson area for many years. Audrey was extremely active in the Centennial Lutheran Church in Henderson. She enjoyed watching high school sporting events, especially when family members were participating. Go Tigers and Giants!!! She had a great love of children and had an amazing gift from God of serving others. She is survived by her son, Curt Schultz of Henderson; Daughters, Vicki (Alex) Stork of LeSueur and Lori (Duane) Schade of Gaylord; grandchildren, Mieka (Steve) Tokle, Hallie (Christian) Wieland, Elsa Stork, Amanda Schade, Justin (sp. friend, Jamie Grams-Petzel) Schade, Hannah Schultz and Gretta Schultz; great-grandchildren, Audraya Wieland, Bryce & Alivia Tokle; brother-in-law, Gene Kelsay; 2 sisters-in-law, Clarice Gasow and Lydia Otto. She really enjoyed the company of many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. Audrey was preceded in death by her husband in September of 2007; infant son, Gary; brother, Fredric Gasow and a sister, Lorna Kelsay. There will be a time of visitation from 2 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, February 27, 2011 at Centennial Lutheran Church in Henderson with a Celebration Service beginning at 6 p.m. Interment will be at a later date in Brown Cemetery, Henderson, Minnesota.
