Barbara Mae Reierson

Barbara M. Reierson, age 33 of Arlington, died Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at her home in Arlington after several months of battling Leukemia. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. at Peace Lutheran Church in Arlington on Saturday, March 23. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday at the Kolden Funeral Home in Arlington and also one hour prior to the service at church on Saturday. Interment will be in the Arlington Public Cemetery. Barbara was born on May 22, 1979 to Don and Diane (Goehl) Goethke in Arlington. She graduated from Sibley East High School in 1997. She married Brent Reierson on October 3, 1998 at Peace Lutheran Church in Arlington. She enjoyed teaching Sunday school and was the president of Arlington - Green Isle Women of Today. She was an avid scrapbooker and enjoyed doing crafts. She is survived by her husband, Brent Reierson; children, Benjamin and Bethany Reierson; her parents, Don and Diane Goethke, of Arlington; sister, Kim (Ethan) Mork of Norwood Young America; grandmother, Audrey Goehl of Arlington; In-laws, Diane (Gary) Wood of Lester Prairie and Douglas (Nan) Reierson of Aberdeen, SD; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Gust "Bud" Goehl and Wallace and Delores Goethke.
