Beavis B. Hope

Bevis B. Hope, age 86 of Belle Plaine, Minnesota, died on Thursday evening, June 9, 2011 at the Minnesota Veterans' Home in Minneapolis, MN. Graveside services will be at a later time. He was born on July 24, 1924 to Bernard and Nina (Christenson) Hope in Faribault, MN. He grew up in the Nerstrand, Minnesota area where he graduated from High School. After attending the Dunwoody School in Minneapolis he entered the United States Army and served in Europe as a paratrooper. He married Erma Stockmo on June 25, 1949 in Minneapolis. They lived in the Minneapolis area for many years where Bevis worked for Minnegasco as a service man for 35 years. The couple retired in Belle Plaine about 6 years ago. He is survived by his wife Erma of Belle Plaine. Son; David Hope of Prior Lake Brother; Howard Hope of Sartell, MN Sister; Lois (Don) Strickland of the Metro area He is preceded in death by his son, Mark and daughter-in-law, Connie Hope
