Bernadette "Bernie" Ann Wilke

Bernadette "Bernie" Wilke, age 76 of Le Sueur, died Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at the Minnesota Valley Health Center in Le Sueur. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 8 at St. Anne's Catholic Church in Le Sueur. Fr. George Grafsky will officiate. Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. on Friday at the Kolden Funeral Home beginning with a 3 p.m. C.C.W. Rosary. Visitation will continue Saturday morning from 8 to 10:15 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Calvary Cemetery in Le Sueur. Bernie was born on January 30, 1937 to Thomas and Mabel (Kuntz) Murphy in Minnesota Lake. Bernie married Norman Wilke on March 5, 1957. She worked 30+ years as a waitress at the Hotel Wilke and Le Sueur Diner. She was involved with St. Anne's C.C.W. She enjoyed going with friends to the area casinos. She enjoyed spending time with her family, grandchildren and friends. Bernie is survived by her children, Kevin (Robin) Wilke of Le Sueur, Konnie (Sue) Wilke of Muscatine, IA and Kurt Wilke of Le Sueur; grandchildren, Kris Wilke, Matthew (Annie) Wilke and Hannah Wilke; great-grandchildren, Nora Wilke; siblings, Dolores Wingert, Thomas Patrick (Cora Ann) Murphy and Jean (Vic) Ruhland. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Norm; siblings, Veronica Sonnek, Marjorie Staloch, Lois Raaen, Ella Mae Embertson, Mary Goebel, Rita Garrey, James Murphy and Eileen Roozen.
