Bernice Mary Zeiher

Bernice Mary Zeiher, 86 of Le Sueur died on Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at the Benedictine Living Center in St. Peter, MN. Memorial Mass will be on Saturday, April 26, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Anne's Catholic Church in Le Sueur, MN. Visitation will be at the church on Saturday morning from 9:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. Interment will be at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery on Monday, April 28, 10:00 a.m. Fr. George Grafsky will officiate the Mass. Bernice was born on February 19, 1928 to Frederick and Anna (Manke) Logan in Tyrone Township, Le Sueur, County. She attended District #42 Schools in Tyrone Township. She later married Donald Zeiher on October 22, 1946 at St. Anne's Church in Le Sueur, Minnesota. She worked many years as a housekeeper, seasonally with Green Giant and Savoye Bakery in Le Sueur. Her passion was her work with St. Anne's Church and the cleaning she did at the Rectory and Church. Bernice enjoyed Bingo, baking, riding horses, snowmobiles motorcycles when younger. Bernice especially enjoyed "Corn on the Curb" or "Giant Days" as it is known now. She is survived by her Children; Francis (Nancy) Zeiher of Janesville, MN; Ann Denn Born of Madison Lake, MN. Grandchildren: Jamie Erickson, Matt (Sarah) Zeiher, Daniel Zeiher, Jeremiah Denn, Jennifer Denn, Sara (Spencer) Westphal. Great-Grandchildren; Makiah, Stasia, Ella Brennan Zeiher; Josh, Madison Jaden Denn, Bryn Patterson and Nathan Frost. She is preceded in death by her husband, Donald in 2001, daughter Mary Uecker in 2012 and sister Phyllis Fors.
