Beth Dufrane

Beth DuFrane, age 49 of Gaylord and formerly of Henderson passed away Sunday, October 11, 2015 at the University of Minnesota - Fairview Medical Center in Minneapolis. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 17, 2015 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Arlington. Visitation will be 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. Friday at St. Mary's Catholic Church with visitation continuing one hour prior to service time Saturday at the church. Interment will be in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery. Kolden Funeral Home of Arlington is assisting the family with arrangements. Elizabeth Joyce DuFrane was born on June 12, 1966 in LeSueur to William "Bill" and Dorothy (Wiese) Kemp. She was a 1984 graduate of Arlington - Green Isle High School and furthered her education by attending the U of M Pre-Vet School for three years. Beth married Joseph DuFrane on April 16, 1988 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Arlington. Having married a US Veteran and Joe being stationed in Germany, the couple spent the next 3-plus years living there. Beth worked in several restaurants including Beanie's, Emma Krumbee's, Prairie House and the Road Haus. She was a current member of the Sibley - East School Board, was a director of religious education, confirmation teacher and Sunday School teacher at St. Mary's Catholic Church. She lived for attending activities and functions in which her children were involved in and was a second mother to many children. Beth is survived by her husband, Joe; children, Jennifer, Anthony, Theodore, Jeremiah and Jonathan DuFrane and Torey Toenies-Bruegger; granddaughter, Madelyn DuFrane; father, William "Bill" Kemp; sisters, Rebecca (Terry) Shogren and Barbara (Nathan) Kranz. She is preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy in 1996. In support to Beth's loyalty to Sibley-East activities, Sibley-East apparel is encouraged to be worn by those attending her visitation.
