 
            Betty L. Mattick, age 81 of Belle Plaine died on March 5, 2012 at St. Francis Regional Medical Center in Shakopee, Minnesota. Memorial Service will be held 11:00a.m. on Monday, March 12, 2012 at St. John Lutheran Church in Belle Plaine, MN. Rev. Mark Johnson will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at church on Monday. Kolden Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. Betty was born on April 12, 1930 to Otto and Pauline (Hanson) Folkstad in Sauk Centre, MN. She attended and graduated from Sauk Center High School. She moved to Minneapolis and attended the Minneapolis College of Art and Design. Betty worked at Dayton's. She married Paul Hamrick on July 30, 1955 and raised 6 children in Minnetonka. On September 12, 1986 Betty married LaMoyne Mattick in Minnetonka. They lived in Minnetonka after their marriage. In 2005 they moved to Belle Plaine. Betty loved porcelain china painting, travelling to every state and several countries. She is preceded in death by her parents, son Paul Hamrick III and sister Shirley. She is survived by her husband LaMoyne Mattick of Belle Plaine; children Steve (Kim) Hamrick of Lakeville, Dave (Linda) Hamrick of Carver, Bret (Dee) Hamrick of Willow, AK, Tim Hamrick of Minnetonka and Paula Hamrick of Eagan; brother Paul Folkstad of Tacoma, WA; step children Steven (Amy) Mattick of Minnetonka, Cheryl Mattick of CO, Alesia Montoya of CO and Jennelle Mattick of CO; 12 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren 12 step grandchildren; 5 step great grand children and many nieces and nephews and their families.
