Betty Jane Ruth Bahrke

Betty Jane Ruth Bahrke, age 78 of Belle Plaine Passed away on Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at the Ridgeview Medical Center in Waconia. Funeral Service will be at 11a.m. on Saturday, June 2, 2012 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Belle Plaine. Visitation will be from 4-8p.m. on Friday at the Kolden Funeral Home in Belle Plaine and continue one hour prior to the service at church on Saturday. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Belle Plaine. Betty was born in Renville County, Minnesota on May 6, 1934 to Herbert and Mabel (Miller) Stuber. On February 18, 1955 she married Maynhardt Bahrke at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Stewart, Minnesota. Betty worked for the Norwesco Plastics Factory in Belle Plaine for over 14 years and over 6 years at Empak Company in Waconia. She also worked seasonally for Green Giant Canning Company in Watertown, Glencoe and Le Sueur. Betty was a longtime member of Trinity Lutheran in Belle Plaine. She was a loving mother, grandmother, talented cook, caterer and homemaker. She was a member of the American Legion Aux., VFW Aux., and the 40/8 Cabane #1457. She is preceded in death her parents, son in law Charles Winter, sister Evangeline Stuber, brother Frank (Shirley) Stuber, brother in law William Burgess, sister in law Lenora (Martin) Schultz and brother in law Wilbert Bahrke. Betty is survived by her husband Maynhardt, Daughters, Debbra (Dick) Schroeder of Belle Plaine, Marilee (Tim) Schwichtenberg of Belle Plaine, Son, Glenden Bahrke of Belle Plaine, 6 Grandchildren, Chuck (Dawn) Winter, Jennifer Winter, Jessica (Michael) Nagel, Chad Schroeder, Allison Schwichtenberg and Adam Schwichtenberg, 6 Great Grandchildren, Stephanie Winter, Samantha Winter, Sabrina Winter, Jonathan Schroeder, Jackson Schroeder and Elizabeth Nagel, Brothers and Sisters, Lloyd (Tena) Stuber, Dale (LaDonna) Stuber, MaryAnn Burgess, Shirley (Larry) Kottke, Darlene (Gene) Hennessey, Carol (Gerald) Hennessey, Marlys (Lee) Hennessey, Carlene (Randy) Karels, Phyllis (Dale) Clarke, Mavis (Bobby) Huetteman, Larry (Sandy) Stuber, Sister in law Helen Bahrke, Many nieces and nephews.
