Betty Lou Wagner, age 77 of Belle Plaine, died at her home on March 8, 2012. Funeral service will be at 11a.m. on Monday, March 12 at East Union Lutheran Church in Carver, MN. Rev. Thomas Stutelberg will officiate. Her visitation will be from 4-8p.m. on Sunday at the Kolden Funeral Home in Belle Plaine, and continue one hour prior to the service at church on Monday. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Betty was born in East Union on September 7, 1934 to Marvin and Marie (Langhoff) Johnson. She graduated from Chaska High School. After graduation she worked as a secretary at the Capitol Building and Sears in St. Paul. On June 11, 1955 she married Leo "Mike" Wagner at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church Rectory in Belle Plaine. They raised 4 children in Belle Plaine, while also working at Huber's Red Owl as a baker. She loved spending time with family, knitting, baking, embroidering. She was an avid reader and loved to shop. She is preceded in death by her parents and brother Earl. Betty is survived by her husband Leo "Mike," Children, Nancy (Bruce) Ochs of Glencoe, Cheryl (Scott) Christopherson of Rochester, Robert (Jenny) Wagner of Henderson, Lori (Tom) Christophersen of Northfield; 10 Grandchildren, Melissa (Tom) Podratz, Ryan Ochs, Christina Ochs, Becky (Joe) Poehls, Cassie Christopherson, Jenna Christopherson, Tessa Christopherson, Jessica Wagner, Joshua Christophersen, Megan Christophersen and 6 Great Grandchildren, Brock Podratz, Noah Ochs, Carter Podratz, Addison Podratz, Braden Poehls, Bryce Poehls
