Beverly B. Ehlers

Beverly Ehlers, age 54, of Green Isle, passed away Wednesday, August 31, at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis. Funeral services will be at 11:00 am, Tuesday, September 6, 2011, at Zion Lutheran Church in Green Isle Township. There will be a gathering of friends and family two hours prior to time of service at the church. Interment will be at Zion Lutheran Cemetery. Reverend Erwin Sprengeler will officiate. Kolden Funeral Home of Arlington is handling the arrangements. Beverly Ehlers was born on June 22, 1957, to Willmar and Marlys (Graunke) Winsemann, in Glencoe MN. She graduated from Glencoe High School, and worked for 36 years as a dietary aide at Glencoe Regional Health Services in Glencoe. On April 14, 2007, Beverly was united in marriage to Wendell Ehlers, at St. John's Lutheran Church in Plato, MN. Beverly enjoyed fishing, traveling, and life on the farm. She also taught Sunday School at St. John's Church in Plato, and enjoyed holiday baking with her aunts and cousins. Beverly is survived by her husband, Wendell, of Green Isle; mother Marlys Winsemann of Eden Valley, mother-in-law Rose Ehlers of Glencoe, sisters-in-law, Marlys (Donald) Wacker of Glencoe, Marsha (Willard) Kruse of Cosmos, Diane Franzeen of Arlington, many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, including special aunt Carol, and cousin Debbie. Beverly was preceded in death by her father Willmar, father-in-law Arthur Ehlers, and brother-in-law Donnie Ehlers. Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers.
