Beverly Ann Illian

Beverly Ann Illian, age 78, of Le Sueur passed away on January 2, 2024 at Cura of Le Sueur. Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2024 at First Lutheran Church in Le Sueur at 11 A.M.  Pastor Samuel Mailleue as officiant. Visitation will be at the church that morning, starting at 9:30 A.M. until service at 11. Lunch to follow immediately after the service. Burial will take place at a later date.

Beverly was born on February 16, 1945 in Hendricks, Minnesota to Nels and Evelyn (Johnson) Peterson. She attended school in Flandreau, South Dakota. She married James Illian and with this marriage, they had two children, Michelle and Theresa. While married to Jim, they lived mostly in Brookings, South Dakota and later moved to Minnesota. They later divorced. She moved to Le Sueur in 1992.Beverly worked at A.D.C. in Le Sueur from 1984 until 2002. In her retirement she enjoyed gardening and watching the grandkids grow up. Elvis Presley was her go to music through the years.Beverly spent the last five years under the care of the wonderful staff at CURA nursing home in Le Sueur.  She really loved the caretakers that took care of her.

She is survived by her daughters, Michelle (Bob) Johnson of Green Bay, Wisconsin, and Theresa (Mark) Sullivan of Le Sueur, Minnesota, grandchildren, Brandon Johnson and Benjamin & Zachary Sullivan, sister, Alice (Charlie) Ryan of Flandreau, South Dakota, and brother, Edwin (Alona) Peterson of Sioux Falls, South Dakota. She also has many nieces and nephews that loved her.

Beverly is preceded in death by her parents, Nels and Evelyn Peterson and brother, Gordon Peterson.
