Bob Dahlke

Robert Fredrick Dahlke, 79, of Belle Plaine passed away peacefully at Abbott Northwestern Hospital on August 27, 2018. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 14 from 3 - 6 p.m. at Kolden Funeral Home in Belle Plaine. A celebration of life will follow at the Corner Bar Rustic Room in Belle Plaine. Bob was born in New Prague on July, 28, 1939 to Fredrick and Viola Dahlke. After graduating from Belle Plaine High School he drove truck for the Milk Plant in Belle Plaine, followed by years of driving truck for J&R Schugel in New Ulm. He eventually returned to Belle Plaine and started Dahlke Tree Service. Bob loved the outdoors and was a diehard Packer fan. Bob was a loving father, grandfather, brother and friend to everyone and will be forever missed. He is survived by special friend, Lisa Neurer; sisters, Janice Schense and Fern Dahlke; sons, Craig Dahlke of Inver Grove Heights, Jon New of Minneapolis; daughters, Deb Mornson of Shakopee, Krista Dahlke of Belle Plaine, Kris (Dan) Bennett of Isanti; grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Viola Dahlke; and son, Brad Dahlke
