Bonnie Jean Wolpern, age 74 of Belle Plaine passed away on August 16, 2022 at Auburn Manor in Chaska. A visitation will be held Sunday, August 21, 2022 at Kolden Funeral Home in Belle Plaine from 4-7 p.m. Funeral Service will be at 11a.m. Monday, August 22, 2022 at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church. Rev. Martin Bentz will officiate. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
Bonnie was born on July 6, 1948 to Edward and Leona (Tiegs) Rademacher in St. Peter, Minnesota. She grew up in Le Sueur, MN and she married Dale Wolpern on January 29, 1966 at Grace Lutheran Church. Following their marriage, they made their first home in Cologne and shortly after moved to Belle Plaine where they raised their family. She was a wonderful cook and oddly enough loved to clean. She cleaned houses in the metro area for 50 years and made some great friends doing it. She also enjoyed sewing, reading, maintaining her beautiful flowers, bowling in her younger years, watching her children and grandchildren’s sporting events and most of all spending time with her family and friends. Bonnie was also a very faithful member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
Bonnie is survived by her husband of 56 years, Dale. Son, Kevin (Sandi) Wolpern, Daughter, Laurie (Paul) Fogarty. Grandchildren: Cassie Koch, Chelsea Eichmann, Miah Fogarty, Abby Wolpern & Haley Fogarty, Great Grandchildren: Kennedy, Eisley, Brynlee, Leo, Jackson, Calvin, Noah, and Bennett, Siblings: Willie (Shirley) Rademacher, Delores (Joe) Bock, Dorothy (Tim) Pesek, and Gary Rademacher, and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ed & Leona Rademacher. Mother & Father-in-law, Alvin & Vivian Wolpern, Brother-in-law George Bock, and sister-in-law Diane Janke.
