Brad E. Karnitz, age 40 of Belle Plaine died on Sunday September 30, 2012 at his home. Funeral Service will be at 11a.m. on Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church in Belle Plaine. Rev. John Zeitler will officiate. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at the Kolden Funeral Home in Belle Plaine and continue one hour prior to the service at church on Wednesday. Interment will be in the Oakwood Cemetery in Belle Plaine. Brad was born in New Prague on November 6, 1971 to Einard and Donna (Wolpern) Karnitz. He attended 8 years at Trinity Lutheran School in Belle Plaine and graduated from Belle Plaine High School in 1990. Brad also attended the U of M in Waseca for 2 years. He worked at Waconia Farm Supply and the agriculture department at Quali-tech in Chanhassen. He also worked part time at Johan's and helped his Dad on the farm. Brad was a member of FFA in high school, member of the Borough Riders Snowmobile Club, helped with Pheasants Forever, was an usher at Trinity and on the properties committee. Brad enjoyed all sports events, hunting and fishing, farming and old tractors. He adored his nieces and spending time with his family and friends. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Erwin & Hilma Karnitz, and Harold & Marcella Wolpern. He is survived by parents, Einard and Donna Karnitz of Belle Plaine; Sisters, Robin (Tom) Gregory of Prior Lake, Kim (Todd) Bogenschutz of Madrid, IA, and Holly (Josh) Blunck of Marion, IL; Nieces, Emily Gregory, Veronica Brooke Bogenschutz, and Lily Blunck; Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and other relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers memorials preferred.
