Brian A. Riga

Brian  A. Riga, age 64, of Burnsville, Minnesota died unexpectedly on January 4, 2022 at his home.   He was born on April 17, 1957 in Minneapolis to Anton and Kay (Ranier) Riga.  His family lived in Osseo for a time where he attended school and then moved to Burnsville where he graduated from Burnsville High School.  Brian married Cynthia Ess in 1981 and later divorced.  He later married Dawn Riga in 2001 and she preceded him in death in 2017.  He worked for many years at Trend Industries, Inc in New Brighton as a warehouse manager.  Brian enjoyed motorcycles, playing guitar, drums and jamming with friends in their studio, scale model trains and was an avid bowler.   He was proud of his grandsons and always interested in their lives.

Brian is survived by his son, Allan of Henderson.

Brian is preceded in death by his parents and former wife, Dawn.

A memorial visitation will be held at the Kolden Funeral Home in LeSueur, Minnesota from 4 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, January 26, 2022.  Interment, at a later date, will be in Resurrection Cemetery in Mendota Heights, Minnesota.
