Bruce R. Munstermann

Bruce R. Munstermann, age 67 of Arlington, MN died at home on Thursday, July 19, 2018. Memorial services will be on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at 11:00 a.m, Kolden Funeral Home in Arlington, MN. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Wednesday morning from 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. Interment will take place on Thursday, July 26, 2018 at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis, MN. Bruce was born on February 11, 1951 to Elmer and Emily (Koosman) Munstermann in Appleton, MN. He grew up on the family farm with his brothers near Appleton, MN and graduated from Appleton High School in 1969. He worked various jobs before enlisting in the United States Army in 1970 and served a tour in Vietnam. Following his honorable service , he remained an avid military services supporter. Bruce went on to become an owner of his own sign business, CANDO Signs. Bruce was adventurous, loved traveling and was a fun loving, social butterfly. He had a zest for meeting new people and always had a good joke in the chamber. He was an incredible cribbage player and loved collecting all kinds of elephant memorabilia. Bruce loved being with his family, especially spending time with grandkids. In lieu of flowers, please send memorials to St. Jude's Children's Hospital. He is survived by his children; Chance Larsen of Moose Lake, MN; Nathan (Rachel) Munstermann of Arlington, MN; Niles (Katherine) Munstermann of Fairfield, CA; James Puckett of Withville, VA and Jennifer Puckett of Baltimore, MD. 14 Grandchildren and 1 Great-grandson. He is survived by his brothers; Leonard, Kenneth, James, Glenn and Stanley. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother Wayne.
