Carl Leonard Englund

Carl L. Englund, age 90 of Le Sueur formerly of Mora, MN, died Monday, March 4, 2013 at his home in Le Sueur. Funeral services will be 4:00 p.m. Thursday, March 7 at the Presbyterian Church in Le Sueur with an hour prior visitation to the service. Another funeral service will be held at the Grasston Baptist church in Grasston, MN at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 9, also with an hour prior visitation at the church. Interment will be in the Oakwood Cemetery in Mora, MN. Carl was born on July 15, 1922 to Swan and Olga (Walden) Englund in Excell Township, Marshall, MN. He grew up in the Grygla area in Minnesota. He enjoyed gardening and reading. He was a member of his son's American Legion in St. Paul and also a member of the Pheasants Forever. Carl is survived by his children, Diana (Michael) Englund of Ireland, Darold "Blue" Englund of Pierce, MN, Carl Englund, Jr. of Mora, MN, Terry Englund of Brooklyn Park, MN, Scott (Melanie) Englund of Braham, MN and Robyn (Thomas) Pugh of Henderson, MN; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings, Melvin Englund, May Martin and Arnold Englund; and many nieces and nephews.
