Carol Faye Legg

Carol Faye Legg, age 84 of Le Sueur, passed away at Cura of Le Sueur on September 2, 2025. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, October 3, 2025 at Kolden Funeral Home in Le Sueur at 2:00 P.M. Interment will be at a later date in Bethlehem Lutheran Cemetery in Viking, MN, her hometown.

Carol was born on August 3, 1941, in Thief River Falls to Morris and Hannah (Hellquist) Halverson. She grew up in that area and later married Jim Legg on November 17, 1958. Together they moved to the New Prague area where they would raise 4 children. They later divorced.

She worked as a homemaker until her children were older, she was then employed in Le Sueur at the nursing home for many years. Following this career, she worked various factory jobs until her retirement.

Carol enjoyed spending time with her family and multiple friends. She loved music and going to concerts. She also loved animals, especially her cats.

Carol is survived by her children, Shane (Debbie) Legg of Belle Plaine, MN, Kim (Chad) Legg-Roehler of Arlington, MN, Cory Legg of Norwood, MN and Tony (Kathy) Legg of Henderson, MN; grandchildren, Jessica, Travis, Angela, Joshua, Derek, Kendra, Breana, Samantha, Tyler and Tylor; 11 (soon to be 12) great-grandchildren; brothers, Gene (Raeann) Halverson of Viking, MN and Lowell (Char) Halverson of Alexandria, MN.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Morris and Hannah; sister, Olive Ann; and brothers, James, Roy, Kenny, Rodney, Charles, Dick and Harlan.
