Carol Paulsen

Carol Jean Paulsen, age 57 of Arlington passed away peacefully Saturday, February 5, 2022 at her home surrounded by loved ones. A gathering of family and friends will be 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. Friday, February 11 ^th at the Kolden Funeral Home in Arlington, concluding with a brief prayer service. Inurnment will be at the Arlington Public Cemetery Columbarium.

Carol was born on January 18, 1965 to John and Dixie Paulsen in Mason City, Iowa. She attended Nora Springs – Rock Falls Schools, graduating in 1983. Carol worked at Easter’s Bakery in Mason City, Iowa until she moved to Minnesota in 1984. She was then employed at Arlington Good Samaritan Center, Medallion Kitchens and Integer in Chaska for 32 years until her passing. She enjoyed spending time with her nieces and nephews, playing cards, board games, craft shows and Casinos. Carol loved her camping season, spending time giggling and goofing off with family and friends. Carol loved everyone with her whole heart.

Carol is survived by special friend, Lisa VonEschen; sisters, Vickey (Mark) Bailey of Fertile, Iowa and Barb Fransen of Melrose; brother, Doug (LaJeana) of Camargo, Oklahoma; sisters-in-law, Laurie Nagel Paulsen of Eagan and Jessica Paulsen of Pocahontas, Iowa. Carol was blessed with several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, extended loved ones and friends.

Carol is preceded in death by her parents, John and Dixie; sister, Brenda; brothers, Gordon, Dan and Johnny, maternal and paternal grandparents.
