Charles Schneider

Charles W. Schneider, age 80 of Henderson, Minnesota died on Saturday, Sepember 12, 2015 at The Lutheran Home in Belle Plaine. He was born on August 4, 1935 in Marion, Kansas to John and Angeline (Boldt) Schneider. He moved with his family at the age of four to the Henderson area. Charlie graduated from Henderson High School and entered the U.S. Army in 1954. He worked for the Babcock Stone Company for many years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and was a member of the Henderson American Legion post 74. He is survived by siblings, Ruth Weimer of St. Paul, John (Polly) Schneider of LeSueur and Stella (Lowell) Swanberg of Apopka, FL and his Special Friend, Joan Kahlow of Henderson. Nieces and nephews also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters; Helen Lindorff and Frieda Scarcitelli and brothers; Albert, Joe, Ben and Herman Schneider A visitation will be held on Friday, September 18, 2015 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Kolden Funeral Home in Henderson concluding with a Memorial Service at 7 p.m.
