Charlotte Elaine Stark

Charlotte Elaine Stark, age 89 of Arlington passed away Saturday, February 27, 2016 at Golden Hearts Assisted Living Center in Arlington. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 4th at Zion Lutheran Church in Arlington. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time Friday at the church. Interment will be in Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Kolden Funeral Home of Arlington is assisting with arrangements. She was born on April 23, 1926 in Cornish Township, Sibley County to Solomon Delphin and Johanna Elvira (Anderson) Isenberg. She graduated from Winthrop High School on June 2, 1943 and attended Beauty School and also went to school to be a home health aide. "Elaine" married LeRoy Stark on September 13, 1947 at Clear Lake Methodist Church in rural Sibley County. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to the American Cancer Society and the American Heart Association. Elaine is survived by nine of her ten children; Steven Stark of Colorado, Daniel (Debbie) Stark of Missouri, Anne "Pixie" Burtyk of Shakopee, Joel Stark of Cambridge, Robert (Renee) Stark of Stacy, Timothy (Sue) Stark of Florida, Cynthia Hormanski of Chaska, Martha "Marci" (Dave) Wendt of North Branch and Philip (Nancy) Stark of Belle Plaine, 22 Grandchildren and 27 Great Grandchildren. Elaine is preceded in death by her husband in 1974 and daughter Sarah Doerr in 1995.
