Clara Pearl Koepp

Clara Pearl Koepp, age 84 of Belle Plaine, passed away on December 23, 2013 at the Minnesota Valley Health Center Nursing Home in Le Sueur. Memorial service will be at 11a.m. on Friday, January 3, 2014 at St. John Lutheran Church in Belle Plaine. Rev. Mark Johnson will officiate. Visitation will be 2 hours prior to the service at church. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery at a later date. Memorials are preferred. Clara was born in Blakeley Township, Scott County on April 12, 1929 to Emil and Clara (Schultz) Otto. She was baptized and confirmed at St. John Lutheran Church in Belle Plaine. She grew up in Blakeley Township. On October 15, 1947 she married Elmer Koepp. They made their home in Blakeley Township where they farmed. Clara also worked at the Lutheran Home in Belle Plaine for 15 years. Clara loved spending time with her family and doing the TV Guide crossword puzzle. She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers Arthur and Alfred Otto, sisters-in-law, Florence Otto and Ruby Sellnow, brothers-in-law, Martin Sellnow and Ben Sellnow, and great-granddaughter Hailey Koepp. Clara is survived by her husband, Elmer Children, Bonnie Rae Koepp of Burnsville, Duane (Nancy) Koepp of Belle Plaine, 3 Grandchildren, Sadie (Steve) Morrison, Jacey (Nicole) Koepp, Neil (Stephanie) Koepp, 6 Great Grandchildren, Sophie Morrison, Kody Fritz, McKenzie & Emma Koepp, Wyatt & Walker Koepp, Sister, Elenora Sellnow and Sister-in-law, Elmira Otto.
