Clarence S. Winter

Clarence S. Winter, age 92 of Le Sueur, formerly of Henderson, died Sunday, April 10, 2011 at the Gardenview Nursing Home in Le Sueur. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Wednesday, April 13, at 11:00 a.m, St. Anne's Church, Le Sueur with Fr. George Grafsky, officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday at the Kolden Funeral Home in Le Sueur from 3-6 p.m, ending with a Parish Prayer Service. Visitation will continue Wednesday morning at the funeral home from 8:00 a.m. until about 10:45 a.m. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery in Le Sueur. Clarence was born on August 13, 1918 to Andrew and Harriett (Witzany) Winter in Henderson Township, Sibley County. He attended country schools and later farmed on the family farm for many years. He later worked water and sewer construction with his brother, Sylvester until 1965. He married Marie Petzel on August 31, 1968 at St. Joseph's Church in Henderson, Minnesota. In the mid-60's he began a long career as a T.V. Technician in Le Sueur until his retirement in the early 1980's. He is survived by many Nieces, Nephews, Grand & Great Grand Nieces and Nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother Sylvester and sister, Dorothy Pollack.
