Clinton R. Eue, age 90 of Bloomington and formerly of Le Sueur, died Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at the MN Masonic Home Care Center in Bloomington. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 8 at Zion U.C.C. in Le Sueur with Rev. Kent Meyer officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time at the church. Interment, with Military Rites by the LeSueur Honor Guard, will be in Mound Cemetery, Le Sueur. Clinton was born on January 26, 1924 to William and Ida (Baker) Eue in LeSueur. He graduated from LeSueur High School and entered the U. S. Army during World War II and served under Gen. Patton at Normandy. He married Virginia Ipsen on August 11, 1945 in Le Sueur. He graduated from Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa. Clinton was a Civil Engineer for Seagrams Distillery for a short time but enjoyed a 40-year career with Twin City Testing in St. Paul, retiring as the Executive Vice President. Clinton was a member of the Masonic Lodge and the Scottish Rite for over 60 years. He was also a member of the American Legion. Clinton is survived by his two daughters, Kathryn (Greg) Ebeling of Eden Prairie and Barbara Eue of Bloomington; grandchildren, Melissa Speerstra, Benjamin and Clinton Ebeling; great-grandchildren, Rowan, Reese and Ruby Lane. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Virginia in 2011 and son, Richard, brother, Ellsworth and a sister, Viola Hayes
