Clyde B. "Budd" Hagen, age 69 of Henderson, died Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at the Immanuel St Joseph's-Mayo Hospital in Mankato. Memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 6th at the Kolden Funeral Home in Henderson. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the funeral home on Saturday. A luncheon/gathering will be from 3 to 5 p.m. at the RoadHaus Hall in Henderson following the service at the funeral home. Budd was born on November 11, 1944 to Clyde and Madeline (Zanoni) Hagen in Idaho. He attended St. Thomas Military Academy and graduated from Wayzata High School. He married Dolores (Rutka) in 1967. Dolores and Budd moved their family to Henderson in 1984 where they purchased a home and moved their business, "Closing The Gap" to the historic Henderson High School building. In 1995 they purchased the Lieske building and moved Closing The Gap to 526 Main Street location where the business remains today. Bud enjoyed reading, traveling, photography, skiing, debating politics and most of all being with his family. He is survived by his wife, Dolores; seven children, Tom (Terry) Hagen, Kris (Dale) Roberts, Shelly (Pete) Escobedo, Cindy Escobedo (Duffy Sheller), Marc (Becky) Hagen, Megan (Terry) Turek and Joe Hagen (Nicole Carlson); eighteen Grandchildren, Mikey, Amanda, Adam, Breayna, Andrew, Brandon, Benjamin, Danny, Kelsey, Zach, Gabbie, Frank, Peter, Alanna, Darrian, Draven, Jack and Sawyer; Great-Grandchildren, Haley, Sydney, Hannah, Braylon and Kiera. He is preceded in death by his parents, Clyde Earl and Madeline and Sister, Karen.
