Cora M. Soller

Cora M. Soller, age 89 of Belle Plaine, died at Kingsway Assisted Living Center on Saturday, July 8, 2017. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, July 12, 2017, 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Belle Plaine, MN. Visitation will be at the church two hours prior to the service, (9:00 a.m. ~ 11:00 a.m.) Interment will be in the Belle Plaine Lutheran Home Cemetery. Pastor Tim Redfield will officiate. Lunch to follow burial at the church. Cora was born on January 14, 1928 in Chicago, Illinois to Otto and Jesse (Lah) Schultz. She moved to Blakeley, MN at a young age and graduated from Belle Plaine High School. She married David Soller on November 15, 1947 at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Belle Plaine, MN. The couple raised their family in Belle Plaine, MN. Cora worked as a paraprofessional, (Teacher's Aide), in the Belle Plaine Elementary School for 21 years. She was a member of the Belle Plaine Fire Dept. Ladies Auxiliary and Trinity Lutheran Church. She enjoyed volunteering at the Home to Home Thrift Store in Belle Plaine, crocheting and knitting, bridge club, bowling, and attending her grandchildren's school and sporting events. She is survived by her children; Nancy (Dennis) Riesgraf of Hibbing, MN; David Soller of Chicago, Illinois; Kevin (Michelle) Soller of Belle Plaine, MN and Bob (Kathy) Soller of Belle Plaine, MN. Grandchildren; Nicholas and Kristin Riesgraf, Stephanie (Jeff) Norris, David (Kyle) Soller, Ryan (Kailey) Soller, Brandon Soller and Kelly (Micah) Tweeten. Great-Grandchildren; Carson Norris, Cassidy Norris, Ailyn Soller and MacGregor Soller. Sisters; Jean Meierbachtol of Mesa, AZ; Dona Rebers of Jordan, MN and Elda (Wayne) Zuleger of Watertown, WI. Sister-in-law, Darlene Antonsen of Bloomington, MN and brother-in-law, Robert Soller of Belle Plaine, MN. Many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, David in 2013, her brother Otto, and her parents.
