Craig Douglas Glazier, age 44, died suddenly June 30, 2016 at Park Nicollet- Methodist Hospital in St. Louis Park, MN. He bravely fought, yet had always persevered, during his 5-year battle with vasculitis and its unrelenting medical complications. Sadly Craig ultimately lost his fight that afternoon, which came as a shock to his family and friends. Craig was born on Dec 21, 1971 in Le Sueur, MN. He graduated from Le Sueur High School in 1990 and from the University of Minnesota in 1994 with a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering. Craig lived in Brooklyn Park, MN and was an Engineering Manager for Clean Air Products also in Brooklyn Park, MN where he had spent his entire career having been employed there for over 20 years. Faithful son and brother, adored uncle, loyal friend and employee, Craig loved all things golf, hockey, technology, power tools, and Star Wars. A proud member of the 1989 LSHS Minnesota State Class A Boys Golf Champion team, Craig continued to play and win golf tournaments until his illness. He was heavily recruited as "a ringer" for every golf outing and rarely returned home without the long-drive contest prize. He had the most impressive ability and skill for home improvement projects and renovations, transforming his own home and always lending a hand to family. He frequently served as the "IT support line" for his tech-challenged parents and older sister. Surprisingly, Craig also had an amazing green thumb for growing the most fruitful tomato and pepper plants around! Craig was met in heaven by his sister-in-law, Teresita Glazier, who also passed suddenly on April 9, 2016. Also preceding him in death were special great grandmother Genevieve Staloch; grandparents Laura and Ellis Glazier, Margaret and George Staloch; uncles Arnold Glazier, David Staloch, George Yokiel, and aunt Anita Staloch. He is survived by his parents, Leon and Doris Glazier of Le Sueur, MN; brother Alan Glazier (Teresita) and niece Faith Smith (Eric) of Tucson, AZ; sister Monica Glazier (Rohan Allwood) of Blythewood, SC; and sister Valerie Glazier (Stephen Ginal) of Eden Prairie, MN. He is especially missed by his young nephews Carter and Connor Ginal and niece Kara Allwood. Carter, in particular, was Uncle Craig's hockey and Star Wars buddy. Craig is survived by many cousins, aunts, and uncles as well. This unexpected loss of a man taken far too early, reminds us that life on earth is short and precious. Be filled with love and happiness. Be kind, patient and generous to one another. And importantly, try to hit the ball a little straighter, sink a few more putts and celebrate the victories… on and off the course. Visitation will be at the Kolden Funeral Home in Le Sueur, Thursday, July 14, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with a Remembrance and Sharing Service at 7:00 p.m. You are welcome to share personal stories during that time. Visitation will continue at the church on Friday morning from 10:00 a.m. until Mass time. Catholic Mass will be on Friday, July 15, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Anne's Church in Le Sueur, MN. Burial will take place at Calvary Cemetery in Le Sueur, MN. Lunch to follow at St. Anne's School in Le Sueur.
