Craig W. Hink

Le Sueur

Craig W. Hink, age 65 of Le Sueur, passed away unexpectedly on February 9, 2026. Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2026 at The United Methodist Church in Le Sueur, MN at 11:00 A.M. Visitation will be that morning at the church from 9-11 A.M. In lieu of flowers, the family invites you to honor Craig’s memory by donating school supplies, such as backpacks, notebooks, pencils, and other essentials.

Craig was born on August 18, 1960, in Sioux Falls, SD, to William and Jean (Anderson) Hink. He spent his early years in the Sioux Falls area before moving with his family to Marshall, MN in 1970, and later to Granite Falls, where he graduated from high school in 1978. Craig went on to earn a degree in Psychology from Southwest State University in 1982, a path that reflected his deep care for others.

On July 26, 1986, Craig married Linda Biederman in Worthington, MN. The couple moved to Rochester, NY while Linda attended seminary school. During this time, Craig discovered his true calling, working with adults and children with disabilities, a role he embraced with compassion, patience, and dedication. He also put his practical skills to use as a handyman for the seminary. In 1987, Craig and Linda welcomed their son, Stephan. The family later returned to Minnesota and lived in several communities, including Mankato. Although Craig and Linda later divorced, they remained good friends.

In 2005, Craig married Beth Olson and the two made their home in Le Sueur. They later divorced, but Le Sueur remained the place Craig called home.

Craig worked as a paraprofessional at Le Sueur-Henderson High School beginning in 2006, a role in which he truly shined. He mentored countless students and was known for his patience, loyalty, and genuine care. Craig was a strong advocate for his students and a beloved golf coach. Craig loved golf and played as often as he could. He was an enthusiastic sports fan and someone who cared deeply about fairness and justice. He was an active and devoted member of his church, a lifelong dog lover, especially devoted to his beloved Bella, and rarely seen without a glass of iced tea. Above all, Craig was a kind, steady presence. A patient, loving family man who quietly made the world better for those around him.

Craig is survived by his son, Stephan (Christine Lenz) Hink of Burnsville, MN; his brother, Corey (Kristen) Hink of Minneapolis, MN; and their children, A.J., Ethaniel, and Eva Hink. He is also lovingly remembered by the many students, staff members, friends, and community members whose lives he touched throughout the Le Sueur-Henderson area.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his cherished pup, Bella.
