Craig J. Jeurissen, age 42 of Belle Plaine, passed away on February 27, 2013 at St. Francis Regional Medical Center in Shakopee. Funeral Service will be 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 3, 2013 at St. John Lutheran Church in Belle Plaine. Rev. Mark Johnson will officiate. Visitation will be 1:00-4:00 pm on Sunday at the church prior to the service. Craig was born on July 27, 1970 to Jim and Sherry (Wenzel) Jeurissen in New Prague, Minnesota. He grew up in Belle Plaine and graduated from Belle Plaine High School. Craig has worked at Chard Tiling & Excavating for the last 25 years. He enjoyed motorcycling, small crop farming and was a very creative fabricator and mechanic. Craig was a devoted father, dedicated & loving husband, loyal employee, hard working co-worker, awesome son, entertaining uncle, adventurous brother and generous neighbor. Craig is survived by his wife Lisa Jeurissen of Belle Plaine; Son, McCalester Jeurissen of Nashville, TN; Parents, Jim Jeurissen (Sandy) of Belle Plaine and Sherry Jeurissen of Reno, NV; Siblings, Kevin (Elizabeth) Jeurissen of St. James, Lynn (Eric) Roeder of Chapel Hill, NC, Glen (Lisa) Jeurissen of Belle Plaine, Tracy Jeurissen of St. Louis Park and Joseph Jeurissen of Reno, NV; Step-Sisters, Amy Prochaska of New Prague, Jessica and Lindsey Prochaska of St. Louis Park; Nieces and Nephews, Emily Bonar, Adam & Drew Roeder, Katlyn, Darren, Dylan & Nathan Jeurissen, Lindsay & Brian Fellows, Adam & Ashley Striegel; Parents-in-law, Douglas & Bernadine Striegel; Sister-in-law, Janice (Victor) Heaviland; Brother-in-law, Jeffrey (Brenda) Striegel.
