Dale L Felmlee

Dale L. Felmlee, age 86 of Le Sueur, died Saturday, December 23, 2017 at Comfort Residence in Le Sueur. Funeral service will be 11am on Thursday, December 28 at Zion United Church of Christ in Le Sueur. Rev. Kent Meyer will officiate. Visitation will be from 3-7pm on Wednesday, December 27 at the Kolden Funeral Home in Le Sueur, and also one hour prior to service time at the church on Thursday. Interment will be in Mound Cemetery on Thurs. in Le Sueur with Military Rites provided by the Le Sueur Honor Guard. Dale was born on October 3, 1931 in Le Sueur to Kenneth and Vera (Brandt) Felmlee. He grew up in St. Peter and graduated from St. Peter High School. He married Doris Becker on November 14, 1953. He delivered bulk petroleum oil for the Le Sueur area, and owned and operated Le Sueur Auto Parts (NAPA) for over 20 years. Dale had served in the Korean War and was proud to be a veteran. He was a member of the Le Sueur Fire Department for 25 years. He was a member of Zion U.C.C.. He was a lifetime member of the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW). He was an active member of the Riverbend Antique Auto Club and Auto Restorers Club of Southern MN. He volunteered several years for Habitat for Humanity. Dale enjoyed spending time with family and friends, being a fireman, and volunteering. He had a passion for automobiles, and loved restoring old cars and motorcycles. Dale is survived by his loving wife, Doris; four children, Kenny Felmlee, Rick (Ellen) Felmlee, Susan Steffen, and Barb (Essie) Mostaghimi; daughter-in-law, Susan Felmlee; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and sister, Janice Lammers. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Dwaine Felmlee; granddaughter, Crystal Felmlee, and son-in-law, Lyle Steffen.
