 
            Dale D. Kleist, age 64 of Arlington, died on Tuesday, Dec. 11, in Glencoe, Minnesota. Funeral services will be on Saturday, Dec. 15, at 12:00 p.m. at Peace Lutheran Church in Arlington. Visitation will be on Saturday at the church from 9:00 a.m. until service time at noon. Burial will be in the Arlington Public Cemetery. Rev. William Postel will officiate the services. Dale was born on Jan. 15, 1948 to Albert & Verna (Kamps) Kleist in Arlington, MN. He grew up in the Arlington area graduating from Arlington-Green Isle High School in 1965. He married Linda Sue Hankins on May 20, 1967 at St. Olaf Lutheran Church in Bode, Iowa. The couple lived in Richfield for a short time before moving to Arlington in 1968. They operated and owned a grocery store in Arlington from 1969 - 1995. After the store was sold, Dale worked for Coremark Co. in Business Development until his retirement in 2010. He is survived by his children;Kelli (Charles) Woehler of Belgrade, MN, Kirk (Brean) Kleist of Richmond, MN. Grandchildren; Whitney, Cole & Bailey Woehler; Kennedy & Makullen Kleist. Brother, Glenn (Geraldine) Kleist of Richfield; Sister-in-Law, Mavis Kleist. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Linda & infant daughter; siblings, Lyle Kleist & wife Mary, Kenneth Kleist and nephew Bruce Kleist.
