Dan Gebhardt

Daniel A. Gebhardt, age 68, died on April 28, 2025 at the Lutheran Home in Belle Plaine. A time for visitation will be Thursday May 15, 2025 from 4-7p.m. at the Kolden Funeral Home in Belle Plaine.

Dan was born on August 24, 1956 to Alex and RoseAnn (Lauman) Gebhardt in New Prague, MN. He graduated from the Belle Plaine High School. Dan worked in construction as a roofer and at Cargill for a short time.

He enjoyed time fishing, ice fishing and time up North. He was always ready for a good time. He loved to spend time out and about, making memories with those around him. He absolutely cherished his grandchildren. He was very devoted to his dogs, walking them daily around town, and making sure they had the best treats (beef jerky).

Dan is survived by his loving significant other, Kelly Scott of Belle Plaine; daughter, Gina (Adam) Gebhardt-Barringer; Grandchildren, Brynn, Leah, and Chase; Bonus Children, Jamie Meyer, Shane (Jenn) Scott, Christopher (Peggy) Scott; Bonus Grandchild, Hunter Scott; Beloved Fur Babies, Josie & Jasper; Siblings, Russ (Judy) Gebhardt, Bruce (Debbie) Gebhardt, Craig (Judy) Gebhardt, Karen (Steve) Brelje, Sharon (Steve) Reike, nieces, nephews and friends. Dan will be missed by all those who knew him.

Dan is preceded in death by parents, Alex and RoseAnn (Lauman) Gebhardt.
