Daniel L. Stenzel

Daniel Leonard Stenzel, age 55 of Arlington, died Sunday, July 25, 2010 at the Arlington Good Samaritan Center. Memorial service will be 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 29 at Zion Lutheran Church in Arlington. Rev. James Carlson will officiate. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, July 28 at the Kolden Funeral Home in Arlington, and also one hour prior to the service at church. Interment will be in the Arlington Public Cemetery. Daniel was born on April 1, 1955 to Elton and Viola (Buckentin) Stenzel at the U of M in Minneapolis. He was baptized April 17th, 1955. He was confirmed on April 27th 1969. He graduated from Arlington Green Isle High School in 1973. He married Debra Kuehl on October 4, 1986 at Zion Lutheran Church in Arlington. He worked at Bongard's Creamery. He worked as a machinist at Eaton in Eden Prairie. Most recently he worked for Delta Fabrications in Glencoe. He enjoyed hunting, gardening, woodworking, giving a helping hand to anyone and everyone, and spending time with family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Debra; children, Joshua Stenzel of Minneapolis, Nathan Stenzel of Minneapolis and Mallory Stenzel of Arlington; brother, Jeffrey Stenzel of Arlington; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; and infant brother, Rodney.
